This rare single vineyard Malbec comes from the growingly popular Knights Valley region of Sonoma County and is situated at the base of Mount Saint Helena. Shaded mornings and intense afternoon sun produce berries tiny in size, meaning less water retention and more flavor development. This wine has flavors of plum and black current combined with anise, rose petal and slate, with that consistent Knights Valley character of cocoa dust tannins.
