Greetings wine club members!
Fall has arrived, and after a long and warm summer, we are pleased to announce the release of our new 2022 Chardonnay from the Durell Vineyard followed by the 2021 Knights Valley Cabernet and Malbec. As we approach our busy season at the winery, we hope you are prepared to enjoy the cooler temperatures and the beautiful fall foliage. This is our favorite time of year because we get to share our new wines with you, including the re-release of the 2014 Reserve Speciale from our library collection. We are thrilled to offer you these exquisite wines and hope you savor them during the enchanting fall and upcoming holiday season with your cherished friends and family.

2022 Durell Vineyard Chardonnay
Embracing the character of this warmer vintage while preserving the vineyard’s identity, this Chardonnay from Durell seduces with notes of white nectarine, candied orange, and honeysuckle. Rich and decadent on the palate, showcasing aromas of macadamia nuts and vanilla while it surprises with its persistent acidity and minerality followed by a lingering finish.
2021 Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2021 is a vintage that is true to site. This vintage we sourced from higher elevations in the Knights Valley. The nose presents red fruits like rhubarb, baked cherry pie, anise, graphite, and black spices. There is flavorful, juicy core on the palate of darker fruits like black plum, with a polished finish.
2021 Knights Valley Malbec
From the foothills of Mount St Helena, this Malbec block is always a winemaker’s favorite. A true expression of the vintage, this complex, and concentrated wine evolves in your glass from dark fruit aromas of blackberry jam and black cherry to cassis and licorice. The velvety generous tannins on the palate are complemented by its well-balanced acidity and notes of vanilla and baking spice.
2014 Réserve Spéciale Cabernet Sauvignon
Introduced on the nose with seductive dark fruits of blackberry, black cherry, and licorice, it reveals in the glass notes of dark chocolate and cigar box. This 10-year-old wine retains its freshness, demonstrating ripe fruit aromas and toasted nuts on the palate. With its silky tannins and long finish, it leaves you wanting to savor more. The 2014 Réserve Spéciale is currently prime to enjoy now but could age 10+ years longer.
